Job Description:
The Histology Lab Technician should be ASCP certified and must possess the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the technical aspects of histology which include, but are not limited to section cutting, embedding, frozen section, special staining.
Qualifications:
Prepare specimens for diagnosis
Orientate and embed tissue correctly
Microtome skills
Performs established staining procedures
Slides are correctly labeled and initialed with information accurately transformed to slides
Performs QC/QA documentation as required by current departmental practices.
Performs frozen section technique within the recommended time
Regularly performs microscopic evaluation of own routine and special procedures.
Demonstrates, by correct test performance, a complete understanding of all routine and special procedures in current use.
Able to operate all the equipment in the department.
Assists in sending out cases, filing blocks and slides.
Certificates, License, Registrations:
You must be a certified (ASCP or equivalent) Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Histology Technician or equivalent. You must possess knowledge of sterile techniques, Gram stain procedures, routine bacteriology, virology and urinalysis testing. Microbiology Laboratory experience is desired.
Florida License in Histology or Clinical Laboratory License
Job Description:
Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a medical environment that may include medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, BMT or gynecologic oncology. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e. exams, procedures and patient education. Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones and maintaining physician’s schedule. Support and adheres to the Integrated Community Oncology Network Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications:

Rooming patients
EMR experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current CPR certification required.
Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
Job Description:
Under direct supervision, schedules all new patient appointments and test in an efficient and timely manner. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of medical billing practices. Knowledge of insurance agency operation procedures and policies. Knowledge of drug and supplies utilized. Knowledge of ICD-9 coding.
Obtains demographic and insurance information on all new patients. Obtains copy of patient’s insurance cards and current driver’s license for file.
Registers all new patients into the system. Prepares and organizes new patient charts.
Confirms patient insurance verification and eligibility on all new patients. Obtains pre-authorization of services and/or referrals. Assess patient financial requirements and advises patients and families on insurance benefits, co pays and financial obligations.
Resolves patient questions and complaints regarding insurance billing and adjusts account as necessary.
Job Description:
Under general supervision, tracks a variety of information for all patients who are registered on approved clinical treatment protocols. Manages the reporting of data to sponsor other appropriate bodies. Maintains all research protocol data and compliances reporting. Performs all data management functions of the department.

Compare contracts to templates for language markup to Manager
Compare budgets to templates for markup to Manager
Track received payments for research studies (Clinical conductor/Excel)
Invoice sponsors for payments for research studies
Track payments due on a monthly basis for invoicing or expected revenue for automatic payment studies
Audits for close out visits to confirm payments and final invoices due to sponsors
Filing documents for pharmacy and financial components of research studies
Assist with pharmacy orders and shipment of IP to clinic locations
Assist with pharmacy IP accountability and ordering/Management of pharmacy inventory files

Job Description:
Under direct supervision is responsible for greeting patients and visitors into the clinic in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. Insures all appropriate forms are complete, accurate and signed according to company guidelines. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff
Qualifications:

Job Description:
Under the direct supervision, perform a variety of venipuncture techniques and collects blood specimens from patients in support of laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The Phlebotomist reports to the Lab Coordinator and maintains a cooperative working relationship with patients, patients' families, medical staff, and interdepartmental personnel.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent, directly related experience to include 3 months practicum gained in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Phlebotomy Certificate, MLT (ASCP) Certificate, or MA/LPN/RN Licensure appropriate to state in which employed.
